Newcomer Club of the Foothills
Newcomer Club of the Foothills

Activity Groups consist of 12 couples (one couple for each month of the year) or 24 singles (two for each month of the year). When you join an activity group, you and the other people in your group will be contacted for a "get-together" to meet. The coordinator will help organize your group. Each couple (or two singles) will be in charge of an activity for the whole group one month of the year. Your activity group stays together for 3 years, but if you ask others in the area, they will tell you that their activity groups have stayed together for many years thereafter because they become life-long friends. Our coordinator will have several suggestions of things to do and places to visit with your activity groups to help get you started.
Your coordinators for the 2008-09 year are Karen Henefeld (864-944-0970) and Mary Anne Kresse (864-886-0076). Feel free to call or contact them with your questions.

The Newcomer Club offers activities that bring together people with similar interests. Most groups meet on a monthly basis or as determined by the group. Times and locations are announced here or at the monthly general meetings.
